# Sharing Your Majik Universal ID

> How to get and share your public MUID profile link

## Overview
Share your public MUID profile link so others can verify your signatures, inspect your keys, and confirm your verification status — no sensitive information is ever disclosed.

### Your Public Profile

Every Majik Universal ID has a permanent public profile URL that anyone can visit without an account. The profile shows your display name, verification tier and status, bound signing public keys, verification stage breakdown, and your most recently published SLinks. No private information — email, phone, address, legal name, or date of birth — is ever included.

### Sharing Your MUID

1. **1. Copy Your Profile Link**
   *From the ID panel toolbar*
   - Log in and go to id.majikah.solutions/id.
   - In the top toolbar of the Universal ID panel, click the Share button (↗ icon, top right).
   - Your public profile URL is copied to the clipboard.
   - If you have set a username on your MUID, the link takes the form: https://id.majikah.solutions/id/{username}
   - If no username is set, the link uses your full MUID ID: https://id.majikah.solutions/id/{id}

2. **2. Share the Link**
   *Paste it anywhere*
   - Paste your profile link in your social media bio, email signature, website, or anywhere you want others to be able to verify your identity.
   - Anyone who clicks the link can see your verification tier, inspect your public signing keys, and verify files or SLinks against your identity.
   - No account or login is required for someone to view your public profile.


> **NOTE:** You can also export a full copy of your MUID data by clicking the Download button (↓) in the toolbar. This produces a base64-encoded copy of your MUID JSON — useful for backup or migration, but not intended for sharing publicly.

### Why Share Your MUID?

Sharing your MUID profile link gives recipients a tamper-proof way to verify any files or documents you have signed with your Majik Key — without requiring them to install any software or create an account. It is especially useful for journalists, developers, legal professionals, or anyone who regularly signs and distributes sensitive documents.
