Manage your profile, link up to 5 seed phrase accounts, access 500 MB of free encrypted cloud file storage, generate API keys for external integrations, and control access to real-time messaging and online features. ### What is a Majikah Account? Your Majikah Account is the central identity that connects you to all Majikah products and services. It's separate from your local seed phrase accounts — think of it as your universal login credential. Your Majikah Account enables real-time messaging, manages your online registered identities (up to 5 seed phrase accounts), provides 500 MB of free encrypted cloud file storage, and gives access to API keys for custom integrations. Email verification is required to prevent system abuse and ensure account security. > **NOTE:** Majikah Account vs. Seed Phrase Accounts: Your Majikah Account is for logging into services and accessing online features including cloud storage. Seed phrase accounts are for encrypting/decrypting messages and files. You need both to use real-time chat and cloud storage, but only seed phrase accounts for offline encryption. ### What Can You Do with a Majikah Account? With a Majikah Account, you can: access real-time messaging in the Chats tab, register up to 5 seed phrase accounts for online use, upload and manage encrypted files in the File Vault's My Files panel (500 MB free permanent storage), publish encrypted files for web access via share URLs, manage personal API keys for external platform integrations, use Majikah services across multiple devices, and interact with all Majikah products and services with a single login. ### Account Limits > ⚠️ **WARNING:** Each Majikah Account can hold up to 5 registered seed phrase accounts at a time and includes 500 MB of free permanent cloud file storage. If you need to register more seed phrase accounts, you'll need to unregister an existing one first or use a separate Majikah Account. Temporary file uploads (up to 15 days) do not count toward your 500 MB quota. ### Cloud File Storage Quota Your Majikah Account includes 500 MB of free permanent cloud storage for encrypted files uploaded via the File Vault's My Files panel. This quota covers permanent files only — files you intend to keep indefinitely. Temporary files (with TTLs of 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, or 15 days) and files attached to thread messages also consume quota as permanent files. You can monitor your current usage, percentage used, and available storage in real time from the Storage Quota card at the top of the My Files panel. All files stored in Majikah cloud storage are encrypted .mjkb binaries — Majikah servers never hold your plaintext. ### Sign In (Desktop/Web App) 1. **Navigate to Sign In** *Access the login interface* - Go to the Chats tab or Majikah tab (7th tab) - If not already signed in, you'll see the login interface - The sign-in form will be displayed by default 2. **Enter Your Credentials** *Provide your email and password* - Enter your registered email address - Enter your password - Password must be minimum 8 characters with at least one symbol and one number - Click Sign In to log in 3. **Access Your Account** - Upon successful login, you'll be redirected to your profile or the Chats tab - You now have access to all online features and services including cloud file storage - Your session will remain active until you sign out ### Sign In (Website) 1. **Method 1: Via Menu Toggle** *Using the mobile menu* - Click the menu icon in the upper right corner - A menu dialogue will open - Click Sign In - You'll be redirected to the login page 2. **Method 2: Via Account Tab** *Using the top navigation* - Hover over the Account tab in the top center menu panel - Click Sign In from the dropdown - You'll be redirected to the login page 3. **Complete Sign In** - Enter your email address and password - Click Sign In - You'll be logged in and redirected to your dashboard ### Create Account (Desktop/Web App) 1. **Navigate to Sign Up** *Access account creation* - Go to the Chats tab or Majikah tab - If you see the login interface, click Create Account - The form will switch to sign-up mode 2. **Enter Account Details** *Provide your information* - Enter a valid email address (must be accessible to you) - Create a password (minimum 8 characters with at least one symbol and one number) - Enter your first name - Enter your last name - Click Create Account to continue 3. **Verify Your Email** *Complete OTP verification* - Check your email inbox for an OTP (One-Time Password) - Enter the 6-digit OTP in the verification field - Click Confirm to verify your email - If you don't receive the OTP, check your spam folder or request a new code 4. **Account Created** - Your Majikah Account is now created and verified - You'll be automatically signed in - You'll be redirected to your profile page - You can now register seed phrase accounts, access real-time messaging, and use your 500 MB cloud file storage ### Create Account (Website) 1. **Navigate to Sign Up** *Multiple access methods* - Method 1: Click the menu icon (upper right) → Sign In - Method 2: Hover on Account tab (top center) → Sign In - On the login page, click Create Account to switch to sign-up 2. **Fill Out Registration Form** - Enter your valid email address - Create a secure password (min. 8 characters, include symbol and number) - Provide your first name and last name - Click Create Account 3. **Verify Email with OTP** - An OTP will be sent to your email - Enter the 6-digit code in the verification field - Click Confirm to complete registration 4. **Welcome to Majikah** - Account successfully created - You're now signed in automatically - Redirected to your profile page to complete setup > **NOTE:** Password Requirements: Minimum 8 characters, at least one number, and at least one symbol (!@#$%^&* etc.). However, your local seed phrase accounts remain intact — you can still use Majik Message offline for encryption and decryption. > **NOTE:** Even after deleting your Majikah Account, your local seed phrase accounts stored on your device remain functional. You can continue using Majik Message offline in the Message tab and File Vault tab for local encryption and decryption. ### Managing API Keys Your Majikah Account also provides access to personal API keys for external integrations. These keys allow you to use Majikah services in your own platforms and applications via our SDKs. Access API key management from your profile page or the Majikah tab when signed in. Generate, rotate, or revoke keys as needed for your custom integrations. ### Linking Seed Phrase Accounts Your Majikah Account can hold up to 5 registered seed phrase accounts simultaneously. To register a local account online, go to the Majikah tab → Registered Identities section → click the plus icon. Select the local seed phrase account you want to register.
