The two supported import formats are: a .png contact card (a scannable image encoding the contact's full public key and party metadata, exported from any Majikah product) and an invite key string (a compact text string encoding the same data). There is no CSV or vCard import — the cryptographic key requirement means all contact import flows go through these two formats. ### Importing a contact 1. **Open the Contacts tab** - Navigate to the Contacts tab in the main navigation. - Select Add Contact. 2. **Choose your import format** *.png contact card or invite key string* - Select Import contact card (.png) to upload a .png file received from your contact. - Or select Import via invite key to paste their invite key string. - Majik Buwiz will parse the key data and create the contact record automatically. 3. **Complete the contact record** *Fill in any missing tax profile fields* - The contact card may or may not include full tax profile details (TIN, address, classification) depending on what the sender included. - After import, open the contact and fill in any missing fields relevant to how you will use them on invoices. ### Exporting contacts Contacts can be exported individually or as part of a full backup. Each contact exports as a .png contact card — a portable image that encodes the contact's full public key and party metadata. You can share this card with others so they can import you or your contact into their own Majikah product. ### Exporting a contact 1. **Single contact export** *From the contact's detail view* - Open the contact from the Contacts tab. - Select Export contact card. A .png contact card file will be generated and saved. - Share this file with anyone who needs to add you to their Majikah product directory. 2. **Batch export** *Export multiple contacts at once* - From the Contacts tab, select multiple contacts using the batch selection mode. - Choose Export selected. All selected contacts will be exported as individual .png contact card files. - Batch export is also included as part of the full app backup flow. > **NOTE:** Contact exports are also included in the full Majik Buwiz backup. If you perform a complete app backup, your entire contact directory is included automatically.
